Corona Brasov Wolves – Kanada Hokiklub Budapest 1-3 (0-3, 0-0, 1-0)

Erste Liga game between Corona Brasov and Hokiklub Budapest on the Olympic Ice Rink was played tonight. The Hungarian team was keen to win their first game and took a very good start, scoring in the 3’04 ” minute.

By the end of the first half, the score was in favor of the guests: 0-3. The game was an incarcerated one, with many irregularities and also with many penalties.

The only notable element in the second half was the penalty shot, given in the 35’05 ” minute to the guests, but defended by Toke.

,,Wolves”, 2 more victories in the National Championship

Corona Brașov Wolves continued their path in the new edition of the internal championship without meeting any trouble, obtaining two other successful victories.

After the first two games, CSHC Marton Aron was the first defeated team by our Wolves, so it was the turn of another team to be defeated in the same manner in Brașov. We’re talking about Steaua Bucharest, which lost the games against Corona Brașov on Tuesday and Wednesday with a score of 7-1 and 13-2, respectively.

Coach Greg Lindqvist rolled up during these games all the players from the team, including the youngsters Gajdo and Vasile.

In the first match, the goals for Corona were scored by: Lidhammar (3), Trancă (2), G. Biro, Z. Molnar, while the second game’s achievements were “signed” by Lidhammar (2), M. Biro (2), Gliga (2), Tendler, Carlson, Balasz Peter, Trancă, Nielsen, Bors and Gajdo.

Transfer from SC Miercurea Ciuc: Zoltan Molnar became a “wolf”!

Corona Brasov Wolves made another important transfer by bringing Zoltan Molnar, the brother of Molnar Zsombor to Brasov. He played the last five seasons at SC Miercurea Ciuc. Zoltan Molnar is 23 years old, 178 cm high and 75 kilograms. Being a forward, he scored 16 goals in 32 games disputed by his team in the last edition of Erste Liga, including the play-offs. He also played in the Continental Cup with the team from Miercurea Ciuc. He has been selected to play for the U18 and U20 national teams.
