Corona Brasov Wolves lost to Gheorgheni

The “Wolves” disputed on Sunday the fifth game of the National Championship edition of 2018-2019.

The Brasov team played at Gheorgheni, against the local team, ACSH Gheorgheni, that won the match with 3-2 (1-0, 0-1, 2-1). The goals of our team were scored by Tendler (min 20’14”) and Lidhammar (min. 59’45”).

Greg Lindqvist, the main coach of the “wovles” is convinced that: “You cannot win a hockey game from the penalty box and in the yesterday’s game, our team had not less than 11 minutes of penalties in the first half. This thing practically destroyed the flow of the game and whatever effort we made afterwards, we did not managed to make a return in the match. For me, there is a good part, meaning that now I know what we have to improve and what decisions to take in the next games with Gheorgheni.”

The next team of our team in the National Championship is scheduled on 24 september, away, with SC Miercurea Ciuc. Until then, Corona Brașov Wolves will debut in the 2018-2019 edition of the Erste liga on September 14, with three matches in Austria and Hungary. The first Erste Liga home match played in the Brasov Olympic Ice Rink will be on September 201 with DEAC, at 18:30.
