Welcome to Brasov, Jared Brown!

Our club managed to get the signature of American striker Jared Brown (33).

Jared Brown was born in Gardner (Kansas, USA) on February 21, 1986 and plays the role of “center”.

After playing – in 2005 – at Lincoln Stars (in the United States Hockey League-USHS youth league), in 2007 he was awarded a scholarship from Northern Michigan University (NCAA).

At Northern Michigan University he spent 4 seasons, and in 2011 he signed his first professional contract: in the CHL, with the Quad City Mallards team.

In 2012 he got to play for the first time in Europe, signing a contract with the Polish team GKS Katowice.

For Katowice, he played in 13 games and managed to score 19 points.

After returning to the US, where he played at Rapid City Rush (CHL) and Missouri Mavericks (ECHL), he returned to Europe in 2015, playing in both the first French league in Dijon and the first Polish league in Dijon. STS Sanok.

After starting the 2016/2017 season in Poland at Orlik Opole, in the second part of the season he came to Erste Liga, signing a contract with Debreceni HK team.

In Debrecen he had an exceptional period, managing to make 22 points in 14 games of the regular season and 7 points in 11 games of the play-off.

In the quarter-finals of the Erste League that season he was an opponent of our team, being one of the players who made a decisive contribution to qualifying the Debreceni HK team in the league semifinals.

Debrecen’s excellent performances propelled him to the MAC Budapest team next season, together with Erste Liga.

At MAC he scored 46 points (13 goals and 33 assists) in 27 regular season games and 20 points (6 goals and 14 assists) in the play-off.

In the semi-finals of the Erste League he was again the opponent of our team, being one of the decisive players of MAC Budapest.

Last season he also spent at MAC, but he evolved into the first Slovak league.

At MAC Újbuda he was the second regular-season scorer in the first Slovak league, scoring 45 points (20 goals and 25 assists) in 57 games.

This season he started in Erste Liga, at UTE, where he played in 12 games and scored 13 points (5 goals and 8 assists).

Jared Brown is a very technical player, creative and with a very strong personality and we hope to be one of the decisive players of our team for the rest of the season.
