Corona Brasov Wolves – SC Miercurea Ciuc 2-8 (0-3, 0-4, 2-1)

The fourth game between Corona Brasov and SC Miercurea Ciuc from the series of the quarter-finals of Erste Liga was disputed on the ice of the Olympic ice rink. Guests managed to score 8-2 (3-0, 4-0, 1-2).

Corona’s goals were scored in third period by Tendler (min. 46’42 ”) and Lidhammar (min. 49, 48 ”). With the general score of 4-0, SC Miercurea Ciuc qualified in the semifinal Erste Liga.

Corona Brasov continues the preparations for the National Championship, with the goal of ranking first at the end of the regular season.

Corona Brasov Wolves – SC Miercurea Ciuc 2-3 (1-1, 0-1, 1-0, 0-0, 0-1)

The third game of the quarter-finals in Erste Liga, between Corona Brasov and SC Miercurea Ciuc, was played on the Brasov Olympic ice rink. The game was spectacular and required two extra periods, since at the end of the regular time the score was 2-2.

SC Miercurea CIuc opened the score in min. 11’01 ” after which, Corona equalized through Tendler, min. 13’09 ”. In the second half there was a single goal, belonging to the guests (min 32’30 ”).

The third round was the most interesting, with the “wolves” dominating somewhat with authority, so that they managed to equalize in min. 51’29 ” through Roberto Gliga. The first round of overtime, 20 minutes, in which no one scored, despite the occasions of the Brasov team. Scoring scales tilted in the second half of the game, after 1’32 ”, when the visiting team scored, winning with 3-2.

The general score is 3-0 for SC Miercurea Ciuc, the fourth game of the series is to be held on March 5, 18.30, also at the Brasov Olympic ice rink.

Corona Braşov won clearly against Sportul Studentesc

Two games between Corona Braşov and Sportul Studenţesc took place in the National Championship this weekend on the Olympic Ice rink in Brasov. As expected, Braşov team was frankly imposing on both games, all the more so as the coaches did not clean up the “heavy” pieces, which thus scored the most goals. In both games, Corona Braşov scored 41 goals.

In the first game: Corona Braşov – Sportul Studenţesc 21-2 (10-0, 3-2, 8-0). For Corona scored: Lee (4), Tendler (4), Lidhammar (3), Carlson (3), A. Mihaly (2) B. Peter (2), E. Mihaly, Haraga, Bica. In the second game: Corona Braşov – Sportul Studentesc 20-0 (4-0, 10-0, 6-0). The Corona goals were scored by: Lidhammar (3), Lee (2), Tendler (2), Peter B. (2), Gajdo (2), Carlson, Peretiagin, A. Mihaly, Bors, Nagy, Zsok, E. Mihaly.

In the National Championship standings, Corona Braşov is ranked III with 68 points out of 27 disputed games. The next Braşov team game in The National Championship is scheduled on February 18, with Marton Aron at home.

Corona Brasov Wolves – DEAC 4-1 (2-0, 0-1, 2-0)

“The wolves” started really good the game with DEAC in Brasov Olimpic Ice Rink, so the score quickly became 1-0, through the goal scored by Dorofeev in the 4’47 ” minute.

Brasov team continued its dominance and Arpad Mihaly scored a goal in the first period in the 19’49 ” minute. At the shelter of this advantage, Corona reduced the speed of the engines in the second half, allowing the guests to score in the 36’34 “minute, so the score after two halves was 2-1.

The Brasov team had a third period with a much offensive game, most of the time dominated and removed any emotion through the two goals scored. The first one of Lidhammar in the 55’08 “minute and then Tendler in the 58’50” minute so the score closed to the game at 4 -1.

Corona Brasov Wolves has accumulated 5 points in the Master Round and prepares for the following games, away: 31 January with UTE, 1 February with Ferencvaros and 3 February with DEAC.
