4 points for the „wolves” in their first round in Hungary and Austria

This year’s first round of the Brasov team ended in Hungary and Austria, counting for the Erste League. Corona Braşov won 4 points, after two victories, one in overtime and the other in penalties.
The most important success was the game with Ferencvaros, the up-to-date leader of the competition. “Wolves” imposed by 3-2 (0-1, 1-1, 1-0, 0-0, 1-0), after penalties, through the goals scored by Lidhammar (min. 24.02 ), B. Peter (min. 41,00) Tranca and Tendler, from the decisive penalty.

Two other points were scored in the game with Hokiklub Budapest, won in overtime, score 5-4 (0-2, 2-2, 2-0, 1-0). The goals of the “wolves” were scored by P Borysenko (min 35.05, 39.01 and 50.04), Lidhammar (min 56.48) and Z. Molnar (62.11), the last to score the decisive goal from overtime.

The only defeat in this miniturn came in the game with Vienna Capitals II. It was 2-1 (1-0, 1-0, 0-1) for the Austrians. The Brasov team scored the only goal through Tendler (at least 43,37).
After 34 games played in the current edition of the Erste Liga, Corona Braşov ranks 4th with 69 points.

The next games of the “wolves” will be on the homeice, in the Erste Liga, not less than six, as follows: DEAC (11 January), Ferencvaros (January 13), Gheorghieni (January 14), Vienna Capitals II (January 18) Hokiklub Budapest (January 20) and SC Miercurea Ciuc (January 21st).
