To complete the defense of our team, the club’s management reached an agreement with the Canadian defender Josh McFadden (29 years old).
Josh (185 cm. And 91 kg) is a very energetic defender, with exceptional physical qualities and a strong shot from the “blue line”.
Due to these qualities, he was co-opted in 2012 by the Florida Panthers (NHL) team with which he signed an “entry level” type contract for 3 years, after impressing in the “training camp”.
He didn’t make his NHL debut, but he played for the Florida Panthers in the AHL and ECHL (San Antonio Rampage and Cincinnati Cyclones) at the time.
After completing his contract with the Florida Panthers, he had a one-year break and then joined the team at Guleph University (Canada).
After completing his studies in Canada, he returned to professional hockey, joining in 2018 the Sheffield Steelers team (in the British professional league-EIHL).
In the 2018/2019 season he played for the Sheffield Steelers in a number of 51 games, scoring 27 points (6 goals and 21 assists).
Last season he played for the German team EV Landshut (DEL 2).
From the 2020/2021 season he will appear in the “wolves” team where he will bring extra strength and attitude.
