The game between Corona Brasoc and Dunaujvaros brought a lot of people in the stands of the Olympic Ice Rink in Brasov. The spectators viewed a wonderful game in which Corona was the best and managed to impose themselves.
The first goal was scored by Molnar Zsombor in min. 15’19” when the spectators threw hundreds of stuffed toys on the ice in the course of the event named “Give a smile on the holidays” organised every year close before Christmas for 7 years already.
The situation did not change much in the second period, only one goal being scored by Corona through Lidhammar in min. 39’44”. The beginning of the third period was also dominated by the wolves who also managed to increase the difference on the scoring board through Levente Zsok (min. 50’52”).
Then, the Hungarian team scored their only goal in min. 54’15” but that was not enough in order to discourage the “wolves” especially after Peter Balazs fixed the final score to 4-1 in min. 58’04”.
It was the last game in the Erste League this year for Corona which is situated on the third place from the leader board. Brasov’s hockey players will continue their games in the National Championship, the next game being scheduled on December 13 at 6:30 pm on the home ice against Miercurea Ciuc.
