Corona Brasov Wolwes and Ferencvaros offered a first-rate show on the Olympic Ice Rink in Brasov with a lot of accomplishments and a pleasant game played with speed by both of the teams.
The hosts opened the score in min. 1’47” through Molnar Zsombor, after which FTC got back in shape and managed to score two goals in min.6’55’’ and min.8’53’’.
Brasov’s team tried to balance the score during the second period but was hampered by a well organized defensive of the guests and by a goalie who had a big day.
The Hungarian players were the ones who scored, as well and brought the score to 1-3 in min. 30’17”. Corona dominated most of the time during the last period, shot from each and every position and managed to reduce the difference on the scoring board to 3-2 in min. 52’27” through Levente Zsok.
The hosts tried even more to balance the score by taking their goalie out but Ferencvaros managed to get the puck and to score again in the last 43” of the game. Final score Corona-FTC 2-4 and the “wolves” are already getting ready for tomorrow’s game against SC Miercurea Ciuc in Harghita county.
