“The Wolves” had a lot more work to do than they actually expected in the game against Vienna Capitals II, which took place on Friday, on the Olympic Ice Rink in Brasov.
Even though they occupy a modest position on the leader board, they came to Brasov having high expectations and also had some really good offenses, solved, however, by the goalkeeper Toke.
After a first period, where no goals were scored, in the second one, Corona Brasov had a rough start and scored twice in minute 21’24” and 24’49” through Arpad Mihaly. Vienna reduced its disadvantage in the minute 30’30” but the hosts came forward again with a goal scored by Tendler in the minute 39’42”, which also put an end to the second period.
The game was good in the third period, with many actions carried out to both nets but with only one goal scored by Corona Brasov through Carlson, who shot a spectacular goal from a distance in minute 55’26”. Final score 4-1 for the team from Brasov which will play the next game in the Erste League on the 1st of October at 6:30pm against ASC Gheorgheni, at the Olympic Ice Rink as well.
Until then, our team will play 2 games in the National Championship with Sportul Studentesc on Saturday, the 29th of September at 6:30pm and on Sunday, the 30th of September at 11:00am.
