Radim Valchar, the first valuable transfer for next season

Corona Brașov managed to recruit for the next season one of the best strikers of the Erste League and of the Romanian championship: Radim Valchar (31 years old).

After finishing his contract with SC Miercurea Ciuc last season, he was not allowed to be legitimized in the Erste League or the Romanian championship, and so he played in the second part of the season for the Hungarian team DVTK Jegesmedvék (in the first Slovak league) .

At DVTK Jegesmedvék managed a number of 13 points in 14 games.

Because he has dual citizenship he will be legitimized as a local player and will certainly be a huge plus in the team’s game because he is a very talented, professional and spectacular player.

☑️Radim Valchar was born in the city of Karvina (Czech Republic) on April 20, 1989.

☑️Between 2003 and 2007 he played for the U18 and U20 teams of the powerful Czech club HC Vitkovice. hockey, in 2007 he was part of the Czech U18 national team at the U18 World Championship, the elite group – hosted by Finland – where he played a number of 6 matches and managed to score 3 goals.

 
☑In the period 2007-2010 he made the move to North America, in the youth league "Western Hockey League" (WHL) being part of the teams Portland Winter Hawks (USA) and Lethbridge Hurricanes (Canada).
 
In the 2008-2009 season he was part of the Czech U20 national team for the U20 World Championship - the elite group.
 
☑Since 2010 he returned to the Czech Republic, to the third league team HC Orlova and in 2011 he transferred to the team from his hometown, HC Karvina, in the same league.
 
☑In the second half of the 2011/2012 season he was loaned to the second Slovak league, to the HC 46 Bardejov team.
 
☑️In the 2012/2013 season he also spent it at HC 46 Bardejov, where he managed to be one of the best players, achieving a number of 38 points in the regular season.
 
☑Thanks to the better and better evolutions, from the 2013/2014 season he was transferred by the Gap team, from the first French league, where he spent two seasons.
 
☑In the first part of the 2015/2016 season he played in the second Finnish league (Mestis), to the Hokki team and in the second part of the season he returned to France to the first league team Bordeaux (where he worked with the former coach of the Brașov Wolves and selector of Romania - the Canadian Martin Lacroix).

In 2016 he came to Romanian hockey, at Sport Club Miercurea-Ciuc.

He spent three seasons at Miercurea Ciuc, being the best player of the team all this time, managing to score 161 points in the 117 games in the regular seasons of the Erste League.

In the Romanian championship he scored 179 points in 71 games (an average of over 2.5 points per game !!!).

In 2019, he received Romanian citizenship by Government Decision.
