Another Russian hockey player arrived at Corona Braşov. The officials of the “Wolves” got the signature of the 32 year old defenseman Sergey Dorofeev.
He comes from the polish team GKS Tychy, from the first League there, where he was legitimized at this season’s beginning. The Russian hockey player evolved a long time in the most valuable hockey competition in Europe, KHL at many teams such as Metallurg Novokuznetsk, Severstal Cherepovets or Amur Khabarovsk. Dorofeev also performed in VHL, the second most valuable league in Russia, in Kazakhstan and Belarus. Having a manly figure, he is 1.90m tall and weights 106 kg.
“As we already announced some time ago, we will make some changes among our imports so we started with the signature of a strong player who will hopefully help the team in the future. I am waiting for an assessment of the imports from Greg Lindqvist and based on this, we will decide who will stay and who will leave. Dorofeev is a strong player, he played in really good championships and I do not think that he will have any kind of accommodation issues in Braşov. He will probably debut in Friday’s game against Vasas” – Emilian Cernica, the president of the ice hockey department in Braşov.
