This weekend Corona “Wolves” Brașov returns to the ice after the break from the national team tournament.
If before this competitive break our team has evolved a rather long period with unavailability in the lot, now most of the injured players (Wacey Rabbit, Gergo Biro, Huba Bors) are able to play and the team lot was complete with two highly experienced foreign players.
Thus, this weekend they will debut for “wolves” and the newest members of the “pack”: Sam Labrecque (a 27-year-old Canadian defender with matches in EBEL and the first French league) and Jared Brown (33, former champion of the Erste League, a very spectacular and technical “center”, one of the most important players of the league in the last seasons, with games both at DEAC, MAC Budapest * for which it evolved in the first Slovak league, as well as at UTE).
At this point, coach Julius Penzes cannot rely on one player in the lot: striker Zoltan Molnar (still injured).
Today we will meet the ACSH Gheorgheni team, a team we meet for the third time this season.
In the previous two games our team won both on the move (on September 29) with the score of 9-4 and on Brașov (on October 25) with the score of 2-1.
Tomorrow we will meet, in Brasov, the Hungarian DEAC team, another team we meet for the third time this season.
In the first game, played in Brasov (on October 4), our team prevailed with a score of 3-1 and in the second game, played in Debrecen (on November 3), the “wolves” managed to win only one point , being defeated in extensions with the score of 4-5.
