CSM Corona Brașov managed to secure the contribution of one of the best strikers in the history of our club: the Slovak Tomas Klempa (36 years old).
Tomas Klempa also played for our team in the 2016/2017 season, when he managed to score 62 points (31 goals and 31 assists) in the regular season of the Erste League and 43 points (21 goals and 22 goal passes) in the regular season of the national championship.
He also managed 10 points (2 goals and 8 assists) in the Erste League playoffs and 11 points (4 goals and 7 assists) in the national championship playoffs, becoming national champion with our team.
After leaving Corona Brașov, he played for three seasons for the strong Hungarian team MAC Ujbuda, both in the Erste League and in the first Slovak league.
Extremely appreciated in Brașov, he was convinced by the management of our club to return to the “wolfpack” for the 2020/2021 season.
