Welcome, Brock Trotter!

Our club has managed to transfer an extremely valuable and experienced new striker, the Canadian Brock Trotter (34 years old).

Brock can play in any position in attack, having a huge experience at a high level, in his career he evolved in AHL, KHL, the Finnish first league, EBEL and the Slovak first league, having two appearances in the NHL at Montréal Canadiens.
In the 2018/2019 season he played for Dornbirner EC (EBEL), under the command of our current coach Dave MacQueen, being the first scorer of the team, with 55 points and in the top 10 players of the competition in terms of number of points.
In the 2019/2020 seaso

n he played under the colors of HKM Zvolen in the Slovak first league (Tisport Liga), where he was also the team’s top scorer, with 60 points, being the second player of the competition in terms of points.
Last season he won the French championship, together with Dragons de Rouen, managing to contribute to the team’s success with 15 points in 20 games.

“With the arrival of Brock Trotter a player who will clearly make his mark in our team’s game this season, we have entered a straight line in terms of the composition of the group and implicitly foreign players. In the coming days we are waiting for the signatures of two more defenders, very good from my point of view, and at that moment all six places of foreigners will be occupied. We do not allow ourselves to bring a seventh foreign player for the time being, but if during the season it will be necessary we will do it especially as the rules from Erste Liga every year they become more and more strange, this time the whole team is valid and fit for the start of the season even though unfortunately we have not been able to play any training games until this date, (after we discussed with the staff) is not so important, especially since the foreign players started coming from the first of September so that the group (important lines) could not play anyway. We have ahead a long season with many games in three competitions. And for our national team players, two more challenge cups and a world championship in early May 2022 in Slovenia. “- Emilian Cernica
