Our club managed to get the signature of the American defender Patrick Mullen (35 years old).
He is a defender with a lot of high level experience, evolving in over 400 games in the North American professional league AHL but also in some of the strongest leagues in Europe (KHL, SHL, DEL, EBEL, EIHL and Champions Hockey League).
In Europe he played for Dinamo Riga (KHL), Linköping HC (SHL), Adler Mannheim (DEL), Vienna Capitals (EBEL) and Belfast Giants (EIHL and Champions League).
He is a very mobile defender, an excellent skater, he helps a lot with the attack through fine passes and he also has a very accurate shot.
He is the son of Joe Mullen, the legend with over 1000 games and the first player to score over 500 goals in the NHL (playing for the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins).
Mullen sr. he also has three Stanley Cups (1989, 1991 and 1992).
