In a National Hockey Championships game, Corona Braşov succeeded to impose, in overtime, in Miercurea Ciuc: 4-3 (2-1, 0-2, 1-0, 1-0). The goals of the “wolves” were scored by A. Mihaly (min.3.59), Tranca (min.18.03) and Borysenko (in min. 53.52 and in the 12th second of the overtime, in inferiority).
It was a rehearsal of the Brasov team, in view of the first games in the final quarters of the Erste League, which Greg Lindqvist’s players will support in the company of SC Miercurea Ciuc team, on its ice (28 February and 1 March).
With this success in the National Championship, the Brasov team took important points for ranking first at the end of the regular season. In the National Championship standings, Corona Braşov is currently on 2nd place, with 76 points (out of 30 games played).
